Stanley Stamm is an incredible cause that allows children with complex medical conditions to experience the traditional overnight camp experience that they would not be able to participate in typically due to their condition. In this role, I helped facilitate medications and medical procedures. In addition to this, I worked to make sure each child was properly cared for and I was able to get on the same level as the child and assist my fellow volunteers when directing the campers.

As a camp counselor, I manage a group of 8-12 elementary age children. Throughout the week, I facilitate activities, such as crafts, games, horseback riding, and cooking. Additionally, since the camp is located on a farm, I teach the children how to properly and safely interact with a variety of animals, like kittens, goats, bunnies, and horses.The camp welcomes children of all abilities. Through this work I have gained further knowledge on the proper accommodations for children with special needs and disabilities.

I assist customers in finding products, work at the checkout counter, and package up candy for sale. This job is a fast paced environment, specifically during holidays.

During my time in this role, I interacted with customers, maintained a clean space, as well as spent time in the back of house scooping dough and packaging cookies for Delta Airlines first class passengers, and for shipping orders.
