Represented indivduals in domestic violence, tenant landlord, employment discrimination, and business disputes in state court. Worked as a court appointed custody mediator within the state family court system in Marin and Alameda Counties. Represented individual prisoners in habeas petitions and in two class actions lawsuits: one on behalf of mentally ill prisoners and one on behalf of prisoners with physical disabilities. I have been working on both cases since the mid 1990s. My goal is to see the successful conclusion of the remedial phases in these cases.Specialties: Mental health care policy; 8th amendment law, institutional reform litigation and remedial process.
