As a Residential Mortgage Loan Originator, I work with customers to gather their information to apply for a mortgage loan. We discuss various loan programs from government loans for FHA and VA to Conventional loans, Conforming, Jumbo and ARMS for purchase, refinance and cash out. Each loan program has advantages and we decide the best program for their financial needs.For a purchase I work with the Realtor as they look at properties with the customer to be sure the costs stay within the lending guidelines and the needs of the customer. A loan originator works with all of the financial papers needed, the appraisal, the contract, insurance and title work. All of the pieces must come together in a timely fashion to be ready for the closing. I do attend closings to be sure the customer is comfortable with all of the numbers and assist the Realtor and to make the transition to a new home, a great experience from beginning to end.
