Roles undertaken include: programme leader, lecturer, and trainer consultant for accredited and non-accredited academic and professional programmes; developing individuals’ knowledge and expertise in human resources, management, team leading, business, administration, customer service and retail. Working with individuals and businesses to identify training needs, develop and deliver appropriate programmes and evaluate learning:• Liaison with employers to negotiate workplace learning contracts • Recruitment and induction of learners• Analysis of training needs to plan and implement training / development• Initial assessment of learners to identify individual requirements and support needs• Development of schemes or work and lesson plans to meet awarding body requirements• Development and update of learning resources to reflect business and legal changes• Delivery of classroom / workplace based learning and assessment• Liaison with internal and external moderators for quality assurance purposes• Maintenance of learner records (tutorials/disciplinary/achievements) in line with DPA• Liaison with internal stakeholders to manage learner and employer requirements

Management of human resources function and including training anddevelopment for 450 employees• Development of up to date job descriptions and person specifications• Management of recruitment and selection process• Ensuring compliance with employment eligibility checks• Coordination of company induction programme for all new starters• Analysis of training needs and implementation of training/development• Sourcing, developing and delivering appropriate training within budget• Delivery and evaluation of training / development activities• Coaching, support and advice for management on people related matters• Co-ordination performance management process to ensure fair and consistent implementation• Contracts of employment and contractual amendments as necessary• Ensuring exit interviews are conducted throughout the company• Maintenance of up-to-date, accurate HR data to maintain Data Protection compliance• Coordination of employee committees and consultation groups• Audit of Health & Safety risk assessments and HACCP
