Staff Nurse on an Elective Surgical Ward.

Providing support in order to facilitate and drive the safe, effective and timely transfer of patient care from the Trust to the most appropriate setting to meet the needs of the patient. Facilitating the learning opportunities for ward staff, and promoting the philosophy of discharge planning as an integrated whole system approach which delivers an effective service. Taking active steps to reduce the number of patients whose further care is delayed. Actively communicating with patients and their carers with the continuous process of discharge planning, ensuring they are involved at every stage. Being responsible for the co-ordination of patient discharge, supporting the development, implementation and evaluation of such processes. Liaising with Registered Nurses, Doctors, Therapy Services, Social Services, CHC Team, Housing and any other appropriate members of the Multidisciplinary Team to provide a proactive and continuous process of discharge planning. Assisting with training and support for ward nurses in relation to patient flow and discharge processes.

Work out in the community in shifts on an outreach basis to deliver Chlamydia Screening.Provide information, advice, support and guidance to 16-24 year olds on sexual health matters at outreach venues.Raise awareness of the Chlamydia test and treat service.Offer the on-the-spot self-administered Chlamydia test to young people 16-24 years old.Provide opportunities for face-to-face feedback and client involvement in the Chlamydia Screening service.Support local sexual health promotion campaigns targeted at young people.

To assist or cover in the absence of permanent staff for holiday periods, sickness and staff shortages in the day to day running of the charity shop. Leading volunteers, work experience and community service personel in their tasks. Customer care, serving, receiving stock deliveries and donated goods and processing them for sale, paperwork and documentation, health & safety, merchandising, cashing up and banking.

Temporary contract from 07/10/11-24/11/11 to cover half term holidays and busy times due to big film releases.To greet Guests ensuring a level of high customer service and communication. Selling tickets at Box Office, selling refreshments e.g. hot dogs, popcorn, drinks at Retail. Ushering Guests to their seats and cleaning the auditoriums after Guests have left.
