Nickel West is a part of our Minerals Australia business. Nickel West is a fully integrated mine-to-market business operating in various locations across Western Australia. All nickel operations including our open-cut and underground mines, concentrators, smelter and refinery are located in Western Australia. The integrated business adds value throughout our nickel supply chain, with the majority of Nickel West’s current production sold as powder and briquettes.Our West Musgrave nickel-copper project on Ngaanyatjarra country in the eastern Goldfields has significantly progressed construction following approvals including a land access agreement with the Ngaanyatjarraku people.The Project is located in the Musgrave Province of Western Australia and includes the Nebo and Babel nickel-copper deposits and the Succoth copper deposit. The area is highly prospective for nickel and copper and the West Musgrave Project can unlock this exciting new mineral province.The project is committed to net zero emissions by 2040, with 80 per cent of power to be provided by renewable energy over its 26-year lifespan.

As articulated by Sue Hedley, the founder of SAFE Inc, as we move towards a society which no longer tolerates the euthanasia of rehomable animals, SAFE branches continue to play a vital role in this shift. When SAFE first began in Karratha in 2003, euthanasia of healthy, rehomable pets was still regarded as a necessary evil by many people. Since then, there has been much positive discussion and growth, and this mindset has now changed. There has been huge progress in establishing the foster care model as a means of achieving zero euthanasia of rehomable pets, SAFE is a forerunner in the shift from institutionalised care.Attitudes around housing animals in shelters are shifting. No matter how well a shelter is run, the environment is an institutionalised one and just not the same as a home environment. Sue's vision is that in years to come, animal shelters will also be seen as outdated and unnecessary, with plenty of caring foster homes providing home-based care until permanent homes are found. Just as SAFE understands there are times euthanasia can be the kindest option for animals who are so physically or emotionally damaged that quality of life is severely impacted, we also understand there are times when confining an animal in a shelter-type environment can be an appropriate solution – but these situations are rare. SAFE is working diligently on a paradigm shift away from shelter-based care of animals to home-based care.

The role of the Regional Engineering Manager is to ensure a safe, sustainable, cost effective and reliable terminal network in WA to ensure fuel is available when required at the rate and storage capacity required across WA. Some key projects delivered during this period include:- design, construction and commissioning of safety system such as fire, effluent and spill containment systems at multiple networks- construction of the OPAL (low fume fuel to combat fuel sniffing) fuel supply in regional WA- major tank turnarounds including large tank floor replacements in remote locationsThe principle responsibility of this role is to provide a range of services to 7 Coastal Terminals and 12 Regional depots comprising:- Operational Engineering Support for facilities- Regional design including a personal delegation of Group Engineering Authority- Project Excecution including Project Management, Construction Management, Safety Management and Contracts Management of all capital projects in WA - Major Maintenance and breakdown recoveryand to select, onboard and develop the people and process to fulfill these activities safely and efficiently..

Principal responsibility for this role is the management of the design for the Port Landside and Utilities scope. This includes responsibility for the engineering teams completing the design for:• 45MTPa iron ore port and associated equipment• Provision of a power solution for the facility. • Provision of a construction and permanent process and potable water solution with associated infrastructure• Roads and building design and layout

Principal responsibilities of this role include:• Safe and efficient operation of the Port (2 car dumpers, 4 stackers, 3 reclaimers, 2 screen-houses and 2 ship-loaders with associated conveyor systems and stockyards)• Management of maintenance and production to meet forecast production inclusive of operational improvements to achieve and exceed nameplate• Management of costs to budget inclusive of cost reductions to reduce future opex• Management of environmental license conditions inclusive of environmental improvementsLast 4 months spent as Dampier Operations Manager (Acting).

Principal responsibilities:• Ongoing management of generation, valuation and completion of improvement projects for Centralised Maintenance• Development and ongoing management of cascading process for Centralised Maintenance (Business Planning, Score-carding, KPI development and review)• Develop and implementation of tools and systems to improve shutdown and maintenance performance
