Subcontracted to assist the Community Health Institute with the NH Department of Health and Human Services' Ebola and Emerging Infectious Disease Readiness Consultant Project, part of a nationwide initiative to increase the readiness of the US health care system. Assessed NH's readiness to respond to High Threat Infectious Diseases, such as Ebola Virus Disease (EVD) by developing and implementing a survey of NH’s 26 acute care hospitals. Performed data analysis and compiled results into a report that also included analysis of two additional data sources. Facilitated then evaluated two table-top exercises, respectively, designed to evaluate NH's current state of readiness. Developed After-Action Reports/Improvement Plans for both exercises.

Provided region-specific Influenza A (H1N1) preparedness and response technical assistance in the form of work plan development and implementation, design and evaluation of exercises, and meeting facilitation. Developed and analyzed a survey of 150 NH health care providers to determine their experience with the State's response. Contributed to and edited the After-Action Report/Improvement Plan for the State of NH’s response to the Influenza A (H1N1) pandemic between July 2009 – March 2010. Developed multiple planning and response tools, including a case investigation workshop and personal preparedness website pages, to be used statewide.

Performed case and outbreak investigations as part of a 24/7 response team. Acted as the lead epidemiologist for the largest outbreak of Hepatitis A in NH's history (2005). Led the writing and editing of multiple state plans and protocols related to public health response and communicable disease control, including Pandemic Influenza, Hepatitis A, Rabies, and Varicella. Conducted emergency preparedness, pandemic planning, and general infection control outreach education with key stakeholders in both the private and public sectors.
