Pharos is the national centre of expertise in reducing health discripancies. During a five-month internship I gained more insights into the necessity, challenges and opportunities regarding equal health treatment (especially of people with a foreign background and the elderly). Tasks included:- leading the research project inclusive science: Who participates in health research and how can diversity in datasets be increased?- qualitative datacollection and -analysis for two research projects- literature review on dementia prevention - active participation during (strategic) meetings

Due to climate change, we get different weather conditions. As cities have not yet adapted to the changes, problems like subsidence and floodings get more likely. During this project, we made inhabitants of a neighbourhood in Nijmegen aware of this topic and tried to convince them to make climate-adaptive changes in their gardens. To keep the barrier low, we organised action-days where we guided them in the transformation of their gardens. Tasks includeed-leading a team of 5 people-organisation of campaign, action-days and celebration in the end-getting in touch with third parties and supporters -overall time-management -creating strategies and marketing products to convince people

Utrecht Area, Netherlands

During this project, we gained insights into the policy and ambitions of housing corporations regarding climate adaptation and gave practical recommendations to our principal, the Province Utrecht. We conducted semi-structured interviews with housing corporations, analysed the qualitative data and presented our final report. This project inspired me to deal with societal issues and made me curious about working for a research and consulting company in an interdisciplinary setting.

As a Job Coach at iSWITCH GmbH (a subsidiary of innogy) you are there to offer job-related advice and coaching to all of the 40.000 employees of the company. The questions that the coachees have are broad and cover the application procedure, professional profiling or dealing with uncertainties of the companie's future. During the internship, I have deepened my knowledge on Work and Organisational Psychology and got insights into the complexity of a big company. Among others, my tasks included organising workshops, preparing individual coachings and editing, creating and translating coaching tools.
