Jane earned an MBA in Marketing and Organizational Behavior from the University of Southern California; she also possesses a science background, having studied biology and clinical dietetics at UC Irvine and UC Davis, respectively. For more than two decades, she has worked as an executive assistant for the Head of School (the CEO in the academic world) and the Founding President and CEO of a non-profit working on bringing reliable, resilient, and renewable energy to southern Santa Barbara County and beyond. As a results-oriented professional with extensive experience in program management and administrative tasks, Jane works diligently and thoroughly to complete projects competently while working with all levels of staff and constituencies. As Editor of an award-winning magazine, Jane has extensive background in researching, writing, editing, and final preparation of documents prior to publication. She has also worked in healthcare settings, analyzing potential growth areas, and developing programs to enhance utilization; she has written strategic plans for both healthcare and academic institutions, as well. Her strong problem-solving and organizational skills--coupled with accountability, efficiency, creativity, and extensive computer knowledge--have resulted in long-term employment and loyalty from previous employers, which she hopes to share with another company in the near future.
