As part of the Mater's Degree in teaching Spanish and English as Foreign Languages / Second Languages, I am completing a three month internship teaching English in the Centro Superior de Idiomas, which is located at the University of Alicante. This internship involves observing English classes of different levels both in-person and online, delivering sections of of those classes, leading conversation classes and completing online administration tasks. I believe this internship is a great opportunity to become more familiar with the running of a language centre, to gain teaching experience and to develop confidence delivering lessons.
