To guide and encourage good parenting, deliver Triple P; Positive Parenting Program, and The Family Links Nurturing Programme. • To support in the prevention of behavioural, emotional and developmental problems in children and young people• Empowering and enhancing the knowledge, skills and confidence of parents• Improve children and parents, social and relationship building skills• Ensuring safeguarding is key to all involvement, removing or improving identified risks or obstacles in family make-up with close risk management.•Thorough observations and report writing • To work as part of a multidisciplinary team and in partnership with relevant servicesin conjunction and accordance with the family, child or young person’s individual care plan.•Attend numerous meetings and conferences such as child protection, team around the family and strategy meetings.Contact Supervisor - Cafcass level 2, Supported contact, Indirect contact and preperation for contact.

• Supporting carers, children and young people of all ages, abilities and ethnicity• Supporting placement breakdown and introduction to new cares• Supervising parental/sibling contacts• Working in correspondence to the Every Child Matters framework, an understanding of child legislation, policies and procedures.• Transportation• Educational work, formal and informal, in school and in the community• Group work; Girls Workshop, Young Peoples Forum, We Foster Too• Mentoring young mothers/mothers to be• Residential activities• Organising activities and events• One to one focused work• Attend meetings; LAC reviews, carer support meetings, therapy forums• Emergency placement overnight support• Acting as appropriate adult in court and police stations• Detailed observations and report writing
