-Participated in graduate level interdisciplinary training to improve the health and well-being of infants, children, and adolescents with or at risk for developmental disabilities -Collaborated with 5 different departments to identify the needs of treatment for children in our care-Focused on leadership in advocacy, ethics, research, and systems change through clinical programs, didactic instruction, and scholarly activity-Researched the demographics, diagnoses and the clinic trends of 105 patients and 246 total visits who were treated by social work and the developmental physician at the Center of Developmental Disabilities (CDD) -Co-presented at the Association of University Centers on Disabilities (AUCD) Conference 2022 to an audience of approximately 50 people-Successfully completed UTHSC’s Inclusion, Equity, and Diversity training program and received the Diversity Certificate on December 16, 2022-Co-led a six-week Self-Care and Intentional Parenting Support Group program for caregivers of children with developmental disabilities-Provided social work support for the rheumatology department one day a week at Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital’s outpatient clinic-Interviewed, assessed and completed biopsychosocial evaluations for children who are referred to the CDD at their first appointments at the Learning, Attention, and Behavior (LAB) Program.-Developed treatment plans for all families who come to the CDD that are evaluated -Collaborated with the developmental physician at the second appointment in our interdisciplinary clinic (LAB). -Provided individual counseling for caregivers of children with developmental disabilities -Observed and participated in Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT)
