I am the Chief Executive Officer of Centre Point Trust. We are in the top 10 non-profit organisations in Jersey employing over 100 staff, and caring for over 500 of Jersey's children across 2 sites for over 30 years. We provide play care and nursery care, as well as holiday clubs during school holidays. I report to a Board of Governors and have full responsibility for the management and administration of the Charity, as well as our strategic mission and goals. My duties include monitoring of annual plans and targets, staff training, policy proposals, articulation of our corporate philosophy and value base, full responsibility for our financial health as well as charitable fund-raising, provision of leadership and guidance to my senior management team, promoting the charity on and off-island, supporting our Chairman on all matters pertaining to the board and ensuring full engagement with the Governors, making sure that that Centre Point is represented at all levels with all our stakeholders and business leaders, and that we have all the human, material and financial capital to discharge our duties correctly. I have been in the non-profit sector for 11 years, but a Director/Business leader for over 23 years. I play a pivotal part in the direction and development of Centre Point Trust and I am involved in all aspects of the charity from BAU to fund-raising & marketing. I have a strong understanding of our brand profile and manage various fund-raising techniques including direct marketing, legacies and application based approaches. My personal qualities include good independent judgement, fairness and confidentiality, willingness to speak my mind, tact and diplomacy, respect for others, strategic vision, creative thinking, effective team member and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
