Background to my role with Meredith then ultimately MERERDITH & MOORE.November 2012 I accepted a directorship with Meredith. The board then requested I take on a consultancy agreement with the terms of engagement as follows. a. To support the Board of Directors and senior management, notably General Manager and the Principal Designer, Meredith in the preparation and implementation of an agreed business plan and growth strategy.b. Working with Board of Directors and senior management to establish a definitive ‘brand’ and brand profile and to re-establish the core values of the Meredith brand. c. Support and assist senior management with key aspects of the Meredith business including brand positioning, quality and price of product, store layout, visual merchandising in store, brand awareness, marketing, channel development, sourcing and wholesale rationalisation and any other matter Bennett & Beck considers the board of Meredith should be made aware of.d. Support the development and capabilities of the senior management of Meredith through direct coaching, mentoring and support.
