Contributing to Tasplan's sustainability and competitiveness through the identification, analysis, design and implementation of new products and business opportunities.

Assisted with the design and implementation of a default Lifecycle option for over 86,000 Tasplan super members.

Contributing to the development and implementation of RBF’s investment strategies across portfolios through the provision of research and analysis. Monitoring and analysis of key investment management processes with a focus on efficiency improvements. Proactively develop, research and review member communication materials as well as providing operations support for unit pricing, investment performance and compliance reporting and custodian matters.

A major part of this role entailed providing subject matter expertise and business analyst support to design and implement a Lifecycle default investment option aimed at reducing the impact of a market correction for 70% of RBF’s 75,000 members as they approach retirement.Other achievements included: the implementation of RBF’s new Administration Fee Structure to meet the new legislative requirements, and ensure recovery of Scheme expenses; the design of 2 Information Technology Staff and Specialist Handbooks; and a number of small change initiatives aimed at improving RBF’s overall process efficiencies.

Participated in investment strategy decisions and was responsible for assisting in the implementation of decisions regarding investment manager selection and asset allocation. Responsible for investment performance monitoring and reporting for the Board and the calculation and reporting of crediting rates. Focussed research and analysis of the portfolio with a focus on member outcomes and product suitability. Responsible for the development and review of member communication and investment product disclosure.
