An active participant in the London and South East Clinical Directors Group , have developed a wide network of Primary Dental Care Clinical Dental Directors, public health and secondary care which provides an opportunity to share good practice and learning from colleagues involved in managing other special needs services. Combined with a specialist clinical role having responsibility for the co-ordination and provision of comprehensive dental care to special needs adults with physical, learning disabilities, complex medical conditions or mental health problems, and the coordination of epidemiology, screening and oral health care programmes in target groups.

Responsible for the planning, co-ordination and delivery of dental care to elderly people unable to access care from GDS. Introduced a comprehensive referral service for elderly people in residential care, in hospital or housebound involving community and general Dental Services. Established a domiciliary dental team within the community & salaried Dental Service and coordinated the screening and treatment service for this client group. Clinical Audit Lead for the service responsible for the development of protocols and standards. Honorary lecturer in Prosthetic Dept. Royal London Hospital provided clinical teaching for MSc Gerodontology students at Bancroft Day Hospital, Mile End. QMUL.
