Key Responsibilities:Providing to the business a new structured approach to resourcing and staff planning within the retail estate. This covers the following key areas: The roll out of a new time and attendance system to 400 retail outlets 2700 employees. Transitioning the retail outlets to automated information from manual paperwork for employee performance, overtime sickness etc to link directly to payroll. Annual leave, absence etc all through one T&A system. Create and implement new staffing processes and procedures that have a direct impact on the customer experience, e.g new annual leave, overtime, lieu processes and booking procedures. Design & implement standard flexible agent staffing plans to improve day to day staff coverage from the customer flow and average transaction value. Maintain and manage all reporting and the data being inputted to ensure 100% accuracy of the MI and to reduce any errors. Project managed the implementation of the T&A system and all key changes or upgrades to the system.Key Achievements: Successfully implemented a new concept of Resourcing and Planning to the retail estate and a new way of working for day to day staff and future planning. This has enabled all management to have control and visibility over the estate for past present and future. Designed & implemented flexible staff working rules which improved staff coverage during busy periods of the day. The transition of all payroll related paperwork onto the Time and Attendance system, which enabled the business to reduce the staffing costs within the HR and Payroll Dept which drastically reduced over payments on overtime and unnecessary sickness payments that fall out of the payment periods. Huge cost savings after the first year due to the implementation and re-education of the management of overtime and sickness.
