Oversee strategic implementation of Council's Cultural Strategy.

Led a team to strategically implement, report on and evaluate the Arts, Culture and Community portfolio. Key responsibilities included: strategic planning and development of annual operational plans, cross organisational strategies to support integrated planning model, projects/programs delivered within in budget, policy development, monitoring and evaluation of programs, staff supervision to support excellence in program/project delivery, facilitating advisory committees and meeting reporting requirements.The portfolio includes:*Arts & Culture - Public Art, Artist in Residency program, Youth Theatre program, Events and Festivals, Artist Xchange program and Independent Artist grants, Arts & Culture Advisory group. Public Art strategy*Family, Youth & Children - weekly support and skill development sessions, one off information sessions, childminding facility, school holiday programming, Youth Committee*Aboriginal Programs - implementation of Council's Reconciliation Action Plan*Volunteer Program - free English conversation program and capacity building initiatives for volunteers*Seniors and Disability - weekly recreation and life long learning opportunities, one off information sessions, facilitation of 2 x advisory committees

Deliver Council's Arts & Culture initiatives.

Develop and implement a four pronged university wide widening participation policy, and oversee and report on the distribution of $4million Federal Government funds.

Manage the development and implementation of policy, strategic direction, projects and programs in relation to Student Equity, including the implementation of the University’s Widening Participation Strategy. Management of a team of eight staff

Coordinate the growth and development of the training arm of the organisation, including delivery of the bi-annual conference, and customised in-house training. Supervise contract trainersFacilitate training Strategic planning and reportingKey deliverable - facilitation of an 'Access Champion' program to implement access adjustments across the Australia Council for the Arts

In partnership with Regional Arts NSW manage the delivery of a nationally accredited short course, ‘Creative Volunteering’ throughout regional NSW.Manage all aspects of the professional development arm of the organisation, including maintenance of Registered Training Organisation (RTO) status in accordance with the Australian Quality Training Framework (AQTF).Manage the online delivery and accreditation of the nationally recognised Diploma in Community Cultural Development.Other responsibilities include:• Management of 8 regional trainers.• Seek and manage government funds to sustain training program.• Manage consultants to write and update Learning & Assessment materials.• Manage budgets.• Report writing - board and annual reports.
