My current role at IQVIA is in RDS software license management. This includes centralising processes, putting good management practices in place and having roadmap/budget overview. Prior to this for just over a year I worked as an IT Project Manager in RDS. Worked on small projects as lone PM as well as a large, multi-year project as one of 3 PMs. Close collaboration with CIO. Planning and executing projects, monitoring progress, holding meetings with stakeholders and compiling and submitting project status reports to management and other stakeholders. Use of MS Project Pro, PPM and JIRA. Jun 2019 - Sep 2022: Support Portfolio Lead for a number of Clinical applications:Single point of contact for the BSLs and the Application Management team for 5 domains and managing end-to-end support needs during a system's lifecycle. During time time I led a project to retire a number of legacy clinical applications, migrating ongoing studies off those platforms to more recent applications. This required me to be creative, logical, analytical, well-organised and work cross-functionally. The outcome after 2 years work was that all applications were successfully retired, achieving an enterprise goal which was long coming. As a Service Portfolio Lead I was responsible to BSLs for all Application-related updates and escalations across their domain, working with support operations from Tiers 1 through 3, CIO Service Delivery Teams and tech vendors.I am experienced in many clinical systems and in the past have managed Tier 1 support teams on MSP-based Project and Portfolio Management and SharePoint-based Resource Management systems as well as SOP support, Siebel CTMS and earlier managed T1 support on a number of now-legacy applications. From 2009 - 2019 I was a virtual Line Manager of staff across Europe, North and South America and Asia and have extensive cross-cultural experience. I worked as an operational manger on CTMS for 3 years and other systems, including a customer system, for 6 months. During that time as well as determining procedures, authoring SOPs and creating procedures for the collection of and analysing of performance-related metrics, I created procedures for performing SOX controls IS.0600, IS.0800, IS.0900 and IS.1200 on CTMS and ran these controls on quarterly or annual basis for 3 years.Being a LM was extremely rewarding and something I was very passionate about. I enjoyed shaping careers and coaching and mentoring, guarding work-life balance and ensuring everyone had the opportunities to grow and develop in their careers.
