Working with disadvantaged communities in Bristol, helping them to eat well and be active:I work with groups and individual families. Together we budget, plan meals, shop, learn new cooking skills and bring back the art of sitting round the table together. My local, park-based running and strengthening classes are a friendly and fun way to encourage mums and children to become more active and incorporate exercise into their lives.I also run lunchtime HIIT classes in Bristol City Centre. These 30 minute intense workouts are a quick fit-blast for office workers, with enough time to shower and get back to the desk recharged and raring to go.Living a healthy life is often seen as time consuming, expensive and unattainable. JumpStart is changing this.

Working as part of a team of four with a turnover of £250,000 pa, specialising in marketing-focused client liaison.Selling, briefing and desiging marketing literature for SMEs. Typically 30-40 jobs in the workflow at various stages from enquiry, proofing to customer care, all with varying deadlines, so excellent organisation and communication skills were essential.

Wrote and implemented a Corporate Social Responsibility strategy in light of negative environmental impact, loss-making operations and mass redundancies. The strategy included press and media exposure, PR events, exhibitions and sponsorship initiatives.The challenge of doing this for a multinational, multilingual, major energy consumer was extremely rewarding.Worked on the dissemination of a major rebrand across several marketing departments in different countries. Ensured brand consistency through an effective internal communications strategy.Wrote, designed and co-ordinated the construction of an on-site permanent exhibition with a budget of £30,000. This exhibition was the face of the company as it was used by members of the public, schools and investors. Its aim was to give the stainless steel industry a fresh and interesting image through the use of text, images and interactive exhibits. It was also the focus of a high profile visit for 250 dignitaries which I helped to organise.
