With "excellent legal knowledge and very strong cross-examination skills" (Legal 500), Jane has a wealth of advocacy experience and has established herself as a stand-out Junior within Court. Jane's "manner with clients is exemplary, whether she be dealing with vulnerable individuals or corporate executives who are not used to being told no" (Chamber and Partners). Jane is adept with High Court proceedings and is regularly instructed on the following dispute types: post-termination restraint disputes; misuse of confidential information disputes; breach of fiduciary duty disputes; fraud and misrepresentation claims; conspiracy and dishonest assistance claims and unjust enrichment claims.Jane has been appointed to the Attorney General’s “B” Panel of Junior Counsel to the Crown. She has acted on a range of matters for the Government in the High Court and tribunals and was part of the team who obtained a permanent injunction against the Prison Officers Association. As a Junior on the European Circuit (led by Hugh Mercer QC), Jane also has experience of, and is particularly interested in, disputes with a European dimension.
