About Jane Sayers

I have been a Deputy Headteacher (incorporating the roles of Inclusion Lead, Designated Safeguarding Lead, Maths Subject Lead and NQT/ECT Mentor) for 4 years. I am currently Acting Head of School. I have 16 years' teaching experience across the primary age range, including Year 6. The SATs results I achieved during this time were in the top 10 for our county. Prior to my work in the education sector, I worked for Sainsburys for 15 years after succesfully completing their Graduate Retail Management Training Scheme. During my time with Sainsburys, as well as managing shopfloor departments, I also managed retail store offices which included financial and sales computing systems. Moving on from this within the company, I was a Project Manager at Head Office and was promoted from this role to the Deputy Manager of the HO department. After having my children, I continued this role part-time before returning to the retail side of the business as a Human Resources Manager for approximately 2 years.
