Experienced Board Member with a demonstrated history of working in the philanthropy industry. Skilled in Nonprofit Organizations and political fundraising.A dedicated philanthropist, health care advocate and civic leader, I have spent over three decades creating and supporting numerous institutions focused on improving the lives of children, their families and the communities in which they live.I have served on the boards of The Mountain School of Milton Academy in Vershire, Vermont, Proctor Academy in Andover, New Hampshire and David’s House in Lebanon, New Hampshire and was an advisor to Frontiers Afar, an international student enrichment program that makes it possible for Vermont high school students to live and learn for a semester in Ladakh, India. I am currently serving on the board of the Piney Woods School in Mississippi since 2016Active in democratic politics and fundraising on both state and national levels, I served in leadership positions for the Democratic National Committee, U.S Senator Patrick Leahy, Governor Howard Dean, and Presidential Candidate Barack Obama. I was National Finance Chair to U.S. Congressman Peter Welch when he was first elected to Congress in 2006 and have been honored by the Vermont Democratic Party for my work on behalf of Democratic values. In 2019 I was honored by Emerge VT for my work in supporting women and democratic candidates in Vermont and nationwide.From 2009-2013, during Barack Obama's tenure, I served as the National Finance Chair for the Democratic National Committee. I am currently serving as National FInance Chair for Congressman Peter Welch's campaign for US Senate.
