This will include using road haulage, intermodal transport or sea barge. Liaising with hauliers,suppliers and numerous departments within the company in the Uk and Europe to maintain high standards of communication.Arranging the transfer of stock from outside storage and between warehouses. Updating schedules using the ERP system. Supporting the Gatehouse clerks with the daily tasks of monitoring the transport on and off site. Updating the Entry card system and records to Express Park. I’m continually learning elements of the Gatehouse Managers role, to ensure the smooth running of the office when the Manager is away from the office. Other tasks also include checking Invoices, creating PO's for Co-packing. supporting hauliers and suppliers with customs queries following Brexit.On a daily basis I attend the Service Level meeting, to communicate any issues there may be with the incoming tankers, or supplier concerns and raise these risks to management. Then carry out any actions required as a result of the meeting.I regularly use the companies online training programmes to further my knowledge and understanding on how to improve myself as a colleague.I am set yearly objectives that range from cost saving areas to improving a current task to provide a better service level for Refresco.
