Act as a State representative during remediation work and in the event questions arise about the project scope, makes on site decisions during work. Negotiate with contractors any issues that arise during project. Work with project team on technical issues associated with the projects. Projects can include water treatment systems, maintenance of landfill caps and or any type of remediation proposed to remediate contamination. Took the leadership position in the Deed Notice Inspection program to supervise co workers in the challenge of lessening the backlog problem in the Brownfields program. Lowered the Inspection due in the backlog over 60%. Assumed the management of the Biennial Certification portion of the Deed Notice program. This project was completed in 2011. Show less
