Continued communication and oversight of tools and operations in US and Germany until 2012, when Berlin plant closed.• 2013 formed team to facilitate Chinese factory development after company takeover by Hanergy Corp.• 2015 developed proof of concept for meter wide substrate deposition of CIGS on existing tool at PVMC in Halfmoon, NY.• 2016 began development, design and delivery of CIGS and CdS tools and processes for 300MW factories in China. First rev tools delivered in 2019 to factory in MainYang, China. • Have a broad understanding of web coating systems, SS foil substrate, extreme high temps, corrosive atmosphere. • Collaborate with supply chain and vendors testing best-fit materials, components, sensors for the extreme deposition conditions. Travel worldwide as needed.• Interpret drawings and schematics. Write DOEs, PTRs for improved device performance, defect reduction, process cost reduction, deposition stability improvement, optimized materials utilization and film characterization. • EHS officer responsible for wastewater treatment system including reports and inspections with county and EPA. SDS database upkeep. • Extensive knowledge of XRF systems for in-situ process control as well as XRF, SEM, XRD, SIMS, Auger, EDX and related for layer characterization.
