Legal Director and Roll A Parliamentary Agent at Winckworth Sherwood LLP in LondonI trained as a Barrister and practiced at the common law bar for 5 years before spending 14 years in industry. After joining Winckworth Sherwood in May 2005, I became involved in a variety of contentious and non-contentious work, mainly on behalf of public bodies, and including advice on judicial review. Since joining the Parliamentary and Planning team in 2006, I have worked on a wide range of infrastructure, and other, projects for public and private bodies, including heavy and light rail, harbour orders and private and hybrid legislation. In 2023 I became one of only a handful of women to become a Roll A Parliamentary Agent, able to act for the promoters of private legislation or assist in opposing it in Parliament.
