With over 10 years of experience in social work clinical management and disability services, I am passionate about providing quality care and support to individuals and communities in need. In disabilityI led a team of support workers to deliver day services and accommodation services and in mental health I performed psychosocial hazard assessments to patients and families, ensuring compliance with ethical and professional standards. I also partnered with community organizations and stakeholders to develop and implement referrals and initiatives that enhanced community support and resilience. Previously, I gained valuable experience as a Placement Student at Westmead Children's Hospital, where I assisted in providing counseling and advocacy to children and adolescents with complex health and social issues. I also worked as a Residential Support Worker at Inala, supporting individuals with disability to live independently and access community resources. I have a Masters of Social Work from the University of New England and a Bachelor of Communications from the University of Canberra. I have skills in psychosocial risk assessments, community organizations, and community support. I am motivated by the mission of improving the well-being and quality of life of vulnerable and marginalized groups, to bring diverse perspectives and experiences to the team. I have specialized skills in mental health and alcohol and drug counselling.
