Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Production and Material Control (PMC) Manager is responsible for the management of Production Planning and Stores Teams. Ensuring long- to short-term resource and capacity planning are accurate and business-aligned, accurate, and efficient and meets business demands. Manage the Continuous Improvement activity.● Expedite the flow of materials, parts, and assemblies within or between departments in accordance with production and shipping schedules.● Assist in determining possible and actual shortages and may initiate action to correct these deficiencies.● Develop production schedules and determine the sequence and lead times for each operation to meet shipping dates.● Use knowledge of production, procurement, and engineering departments to alert proper authorities regarding potential problems and appropriate remedial action.● manage and track the movement of material in and out of the project stock room (inventory),● kit parts from inventory to support work orders,● coordinate with shippers and carriers to set up shipments and support packaging of equipment for shipping, prepare shipping paperwork and maintain shipping records,● coordinate with vendors/suppliers for local deliveries, resolve missing items or wrong parts, coordinate return of the material to supplier for rework following quality rejections

Supports Manager in setting Sourcing Strategy by communicating business needs. Advise on supplier and factory matrix evolution
