I am a physician scientist with a background in oncology and a passion for advancement of clinical care by developing novel effective therapeutics. After completing my training, my interest in cancer genomics and target validation led me to join industry to pursue a career in drug development. I joined Merck Research labs in 2016, in the division of early clinical development in oncology. I have earned increasing responsibility and leadership roles, and I currently am a section lead in early clinical development overseeing approximately a third of Merck’s oncology pipeline. I lead integration efforts for two advanced assets. I have significant experience in First in Human studies, dose finding studies and platform studies spanning early and late phase of oncology clinical development. I have worked on numerous projects including small molecules and antibody therapeutics, including BLA filings for pembrolizumab in classical Hodgkin’s lymphoma and TMB-H advanced solid tumors. I have successfully initiated and lead two programs from IND opening to late phase transition.
