After managing the Early in Careers Screening Team, it seemed like a natural progression into the role of Resourcing Partner. I was the sole resource for all Early in Career placements which do not fall into the official Graduate and Intern categories. The majority of my candidates were overseas and MBA students.I moved over 300 students through the vetting process and successfully into placements over 16 months, ranging from unpaid work experience placements to paid Interns with us for 12 months+ who have been referred by senior execs within the business.

I lead the Early in Careers Selection team responsible for taking future Graduate and Intern candidates through the initial stages of the recruitment process. I have trained the team to ensure they follow the operational processes taking into consideration resourcing policies, and I am also heavily involved in providing accurate MI to the wider business in order to support facilitating assessment centres. This role has involved sourcing CVs online, screening and interviewing candidates. I was required to know the roles and their specifications in detail. Diary management is a large part of this role as well as being an expert on the systems and spreadsheets we use. Building and maintaining relationships with candidates who are applying for junior roles to senior management is essential and I have developed some great contacts through this role.I independently managed 3 separate projects, supporting staff at risk looking for redeployment, young apprenticeship candidates and existing Branch Managers who were affected by restructuring.
