Behavioural change through communication is what I do. Most recently the award-winning SOS: Save Our Streams campaign which saves millions of litres of water a day thanks to over 250,000 Affinity Water households who joined our movement. They are collectively saving their local streams and the carbon emissions involved in cleaning and pumping those multi-millions of litres of wasted water every day.My current project is part of partnership delivering a blueprint for water-neutral housing developments. My part involves running a behaviour change comms programme on a new-build housing estate, to test how low we can get customers’ water use through behaviour change alone. Alongside that we’ll set up rainwater harvesting in local community buildings to offset the water that is used.We’ll then take the learnings and run a similar test with all the top tech built in too and see if we can hit the point of water-neutral. Those findings will form a blueprint which will hopefully lead to all future new homes in the UK being water-neutral. I’m driven by social purpose, like so many and putting my 20+ years of marketing skills to positive use is what gets me out of bed everyday.

Sales resulted in a permanent Boots listing. 95% purchased/planned to within a month.Jay Manuel Beauty 125 Grapeviners generated over 200,000 offline conversations about Jay Manuel Beauty in the UK before launch. It sold out four days later. QVC are hailing it as one of their most successful launches due to our campaign. Stylfile Gel Polish Removal Kit87 Grapeviners reached over 700,000 people with recommendations for the. 89% purchased or planned to purchase within one month.Anglian Water The brief was to get women talking about how they dispose of their sanitary waste - a conversation which understandably no-one is having. So we created an outrageous hen-party-style game called The Unmentionables designed to get women talking about taboo subjects while educating them on correct disposal methods. 750 people generated over 100,000 conversations about this taboo subject and 89% of women who were 'flushers' have been converted to 'binners'. -

The carbon footprint of this saved water is phenomenal and to do something on this scale, which had never been achieved before was a challenge but so incredibly rewarding - personally, as a team and for the local environment. -
