Celebrating Home was a successful "home party" company for many, many years. After seeing the home party industry diminish, the owners made the decision to convert to online sales only. I was hired to create the digital marketing strategy and implement. With some digital already in place, I expanded their reach using consistent branding, SEO and paid search, optimizing the online presence of their brand, and integrating retargeting and programmatic with social, email, a weekly blog, and product feeds. The result was impressive, guiding new customers to their e-commerce site and pulling former customers from the home party days back into the fold.

There was very little marketing strategy in place when I started. I immediately developed a marketing plan that included digital, tradeshows, PR, product development, and literature and presented to management. Just a few months after implementation, they were excited and surprised when I presented the results. As the company grew, I created and expanded the strategy and our U.S. customer base expanded to include International customers. When management saw the progress made and increase in traffic and product interest, a budget was assigned to the marketing department (a first!) and they asked for a plan that would be presented to the employees at each annual meeting along with reports to management during the year. With a budget in place, I expanded the marketing plan to include paid search, paid press distribution, ads in industrial trade publications, and upgraded the site I built in HTML to a CMS platform (Joomla) and the very limited HTML e-commerce site I built to X-Cart platform. I also expanded social media presence for the brand using the newly announced Facebook, YouTube, and a new blog page on the site.The company continued to grow and sold in 2006 for multiple millions of dollars, making the owners very happy.Software: Adobe Creative Cloud: InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Adobe XD, Adobe Premier Pro, AfterEffects; Screaming Frog, Website Auditor, PageSpeed; FileMaker Pro, MS Office, Apache OpenOffice.
