About Jane Cannone

Growing employees and the challenges that come with this function is most rewarding for me. My style is hands-off, because I believe in allowing people to use their skills to make what they think are the best decisions. This approach builds a level of trust as well as autonomy. Project management as an aspect of my work is a good fit since I enjoy, and am good at, assessing the big picture and strategically placing technical professionals in the best roles and projects in order to move the business forward. Two additional areas in which I excel are negotiation and communication and I use these skills as a way to mediate a situation between two IT professionals resulting in consensus on how to architect solutions or reaching agreement on actually completing a project.
