High Point x Design (HPxD) is a 501(c)6 organization that unites the industry’s best flagships, brands, manufacturers, makers, artists, interior designers and visionaries and promotes High Point as a year-round hub for design and creativity. By sharing the city’s uniquely creative ecosystem through design tourism, education, events and community outreach, HPxD will impact change in the High Point community and beyond.

Part of a small core team that helped launch a new work flow management tool for interior designers.Position entailed developing marketing and sales materials as well as editorial content, p.r., merchandising, business development, and participation in industry events.

When I am on assignment for Mu Lange, I am constantly listening to Daytrotter and Pandora and watching music videos on You Tube. I also find myself developing quite an appetite as I read over plenty of menus and peruse tempting photos of food. With the debut edition under our belts, the next issue is due out late June and I have written a lot of articles for it. Stay tuned!!

Wrote and produced features and columns for major lifestyle magazine. Represented magazine at industry events, antique shows, and other special venues, scouted for story ideas all over the country, developed special projects with advertising department.

Worked with the Creative Director of Hearst Brand Development to ensure that the Country Living brand was communicated effectively in ads, catalogs, and showrooms featuring CL licensed product.
