Studies investigated the psychological benefits of psilocybin-assisted psychotherapy on alcohol dependent patients and religious professionals. Additional studies examined the effectiveness of Skills Based Case Management for patients identified as opioid users discharged from the Emergency Department . In this position I assisted Principal Investigators with protocol development, grant submission, general oversight of studies and preparation of manuscripts for publication. Additionally, I maintained records & standard operating procedure documents regarding study participants, study staff, study drug and all study-related materials to ensure general protocol & regulatory compliance. An important and ongoing responsibility was to communicate with regulatory, compliance and administrative bodies and prepare initial applications, modifications & annual submissions as necessaryLead recruitment by way of outreach and advertising efforts in order to facilitate study visits. Obtained consent, administer assessments as well as entered, managed and analyzed data obtained. When necessary, I prepared data for biostatistician. Overall management & maintenance of finances related to studies & their respective grants including preparation of budgets and billing grids, resource allocation, oversight of expenditures & participant compensation and preparing financial reports for sponsors. It was my pleasure to onboard, supervise and mentor new & junior study-team members and volunteers.
