My primary responsibility is overseeing the energy area, which constitutes a complex technical and regulatory business domain.Until the beginning of 2023, I worked for HOFOR A/S, a leading utility company serving Greater Copenhagen. In my role, I was responsible for the energy utilities, managing an annual turnover of €550-800 million, overseeing significant investment and maintenance budgets, and leading a team of over 330 full-time employees.I joined HOFOR after working for Vattenfall where I enjoyed the international environment. During my time at Vattenfall, I had the privilege of gaining extensive experience in managing a diverse range of business areas, including commercial operations, engineering, quality, health, safety, and environment (QHSE), fuel sourcing, and asset management.I am a positive, ambitious, and holistic-thinking Chief Operating Officer (COO) who is passionate about driving people and business development towards a sustainable future. I have solid knowledge and experience as a top manager within the energy industry, both from commercial and regulated environments, international as well as national.People are my priority as a manager and I am committed to supporting and challenging my teams to be their best. I value clear communication regarding the company's purpose and thrive to create meaningful work both in the short and long term.
