Jacada is a luxury bespoke travel company, with 90-100 members of staff and offices in London, Santiago, Hong Kong and Capetown. During my time there, I:•Conducted a learning needs analysis to assess individual and team capacity, as well as key performance issues. As a result, I created a high impact quarterly training programme, which included self-directed activities and best practice sharing sessions, addressing not only capacity building, but gaps in the business and supported succession planning across the organisation.•Reduced the initial onboarding period by 50%, setting clearer expectations for new people; bringing them up to speed sooner and reducing strain on management.•Worked collaboratively with senior management to more clearly define the sales process and created a new online Sales Suite training platform, utilised across the company for onboarding and ongoing development.•Created and facilitated the first ever leadership development program at Jacada, for mid-level managers, to address gaps in knowledge but also to better empower leaders to make good decisions and coach their teams into excellence.

They offer community programmes, assisted acommodation, well-being interventions, and after-school clubs. In my role, I:•Led all staff L&D programmes and initiatives, including the creation of a new onboarding programme, personal and professional development sessions; compliance courses; and ongoing evaluation of impact.•Designed a digital booking & authorisation system for training attendance, in order to monitor participation and support KPI targets.•Created a new competency framework and supported training initiatives for managers and staff across the association, to support career progression and ongoing performance evaluation.•Introduced formal online learning, customising an LMS for initial onboarding for each department and inducted managers in how to use the platform. I achieved a 95% completion rate for training on the new GDPR guidelines introduced during this time.

A multi-million dollar experiential recreation/education centre for families and corporate guests in Shanghai. As part of the initial start-up and management team, I:•Ensured alignment of education goals for over 20 different project based programmes - including DJ mixing for kids; parenting classes for adults; yoga; communication and leadership; fun math and coding.•Managed the learning team and provided direction on daily operations, parent communication, scheduling of classes, complaint handling and managing challenging behavior in children.•Mobilized and collaborated with a team of 15 partnering organisations to create several successful event based marketing programmes, leading up to our opening, for corporate clientele and their families. I regularly promoted brand awareness in public speaking engagements around Shanghai; hosting trial classes and building relationships with parents, to gain referrals and repeat business to the centre.•Successfully dealt with 90% of classroom cases & parent issues upon opening. I also introduced a regular Q&A time to educate families on the benefits of experiential learning.

Working in the digital division of the company, at the Asian Headquarters, I:•Provided subject matter expert advice regarding online teacher training content, scope, flow, ensuring new teachers were brought up to speed efficiently and met learner objectives with rigour.•Worked closely with online teaching centre managers in China, Indonesia and South Africa, to address underperformance and advice on teaching compliance and practice.•Identified and prioritised challenges with the digital learning syllabus for onboarding. I re-vamped course materials to include interactive options and self-led activities, to increase confidence in teaching online and support productivity. As a result, skill uptake and transition into teaching full time increased by 35%.

Working for the international teacher recruitment and training department at the Asian Headquarters, I:•Quickly progressed from being a Regional Trainer (2011) to overseeing EF’s national teacher training programme for 400+ newly arrived foreign staff, spread out across 4 major cities in China.•Supervised a small team of regional trainers; coordinated all logistics related to training; hosting online webinars and discussion threads pre-arrival; communicated with goverment officials regarding teaching elligability; and prepared indviduals for successfully adjusting to working for EFand living in China.•Concepted and executed the first city orientation for teachers in Beijing and Guangzhou, to address questions/concerns regarding finding their way around; food safety; and culural communication
