I am Associate Professor at Howard University. I am the former 2016-2017 Health Policy Doctoral Fellow for NASW HEALS. I was the former President (2015-2019) for the National Association of Perinatal Social Workers (NAPSW). I am on the board of directors for the National Perinatal Association (NPA). I provide leadership for professional organizations, present clinical topics at professional conferences and publish articles in medical journals.
