The launch of GE’s Healthymagination strategy set the stage for the business to deliver better healthcare for all. As the Director of Global Health, I led the team and designed a rural health business strategy for the $6B investment, fulfilling the pledge to better healthcare through innovative technology solutions, advocacy, and thought leadership in the emerging markets of India, Asia and Africa. The design of mission-based public-private partnerships with Grameen Bank, The Gates Foundation, BRAC, and Ifakara Health Institute drove new product introduction, task-shifted training development and delivery, and micro-loan financial entrepreneurship models for women.
