As the CEO of Prudent Plan Management (PPM), I lead an NDIS Plan Management team that acts with care and thought for the future. I am passionate about supporting my staff to have extensive knowledge about the NDIS so that they can assist our participants and provide the right advice about what the NDIA can fund. I have more than 20 years of experience as an accountant, and before starting Prudent Plan Management, I ran a successful accounting firm for 15 years. As a result, I have extensive experience in managing small and large teams, facilitating change, and implementing best practices. In addition, I have a proven record of delivering strong business outcomes and developing positive workplace culture. As a Fellow Certified Practicing Accounting (FCPA), I have been recognised as a senior practitioner in my field. I am qualified to manage Government funds and apply best practice to the accounts payable role to ensure that each invoice is examined and appropriate to pay. As an executive leader, I hold myself accountable for leading with respect, care, and consideration. I aim to be the champion of my staff and to support and provide development opportunities. Ethically, I consider following best practice more important than business revenue. These skills allow me to ensure that PPM—supported by its wonderful team of nearly 30 - follows the NDIS regulations and guidelines, and makes payments in a timely fashion to ensure that providers are not out of pocket for long. The bank account is reconciled daily so that we know where every cent has gone. Communication is my top priority. Whether with participants, support coordinators, providers (think your local lawn mower), the PPM team, or the broader community, I work collaboratively to get the best solution.
