During lockdown, I began a new journey into the world of retail property development and am now running a property leasing business, largely in my spare time as we have automated much of the process.

Part time and interim roles following maternity leave, including an exciting film sponsorship opportunity. This enabled me to juggle my role as a mother with business opportunities and became a spring board to setting up a gig economy based agency.

Spearheaded brand and marketing development for award winning travel business Abletogo, an interactive web site for people with impaired mobility which scooped the Yorkshire and Humberside E Commerce award in 2003. In addition provided freelance maternity and holiday cover for marketing agencies before being approached by Poulters to head up their brand activation and direct marketing division

Developing existing accounts including Nissan, Cussons, My Travel/Airtours, International Paper, plus new business wins including John West, Warburtons (ASDA), Tesco, npower, Georgia Pacific and Bella Pasta. Smashed new business target in 6 months.

Initially appointed as trouble shooter for new Manchester satellite office and then offered promotion to rejoin London office.Coordinating the inception, planning and implementation of a truly integrated £12 million campaign for United Biscuits, spanning McVities and KP, in conjunction with the Government's Department For Education and Employment and Trinity Mirror Newspapers. New green tea product launch for Typhoo Tea.

Heading up Asda's below the line account. Including regional and local marketing, point of sale development, events, activation brand partnerships, store renewals/launches and special initiatives including testing and rolling out the hugely successful Asda On Your Doorstep. Developed a team ethos and in doing so improved profitability, leading to the first team bonus in a number of years.
