My current role is Business Development Consultant working with Franklins Solicitors LLP after having my own successful conveyancing team and following the setting up of their New Homes Division.Franklins is one of the most accredited law firms in the Midlands and has offices based in the heart of Northampton and Milton Keynes.I set up the New Homes Division in 2006 as a direct result of appreciating the need for a department to run alongside Franklins re-sale conveyancing departments to represent buyers of new build and affordable housing properties. The Division has built up a reputation for providing an efficient and friendly service to both the buyers and also referrers. Due to the relationships which developed over many years with builders and housing associations the Division is now acting for buyers purchasing properties all over the country. I very much believe in personal communication with clients albeit it is essential to work with a firm who are market leaders in IT development which not only benefits our clients but also assists our referrers. I appreciate that clients do need approachable and knowledgeable lawyers and will not go down the route of the "supermarket conveyancing system" . Initially I have meetings with Sales Directors to determine their requirements plus I regularly set up training sessions for new build staff either at their regional offices or training academies which provide staff with a greater insight into the conveyancing process.
