I'm a problem-solver and an expert at troubleshooting, learning and finding ways to achieve goals. I worked as a research scientist for years in various flavors of chemistry and biology. Then, after being frustrated with scientific data analysis, I co-founded a scientific software company (ProteoWorker) with two developers. Along the way, I learned about the process of agile software development, remote team work and communication and decided to deep-dive into software development. In 2020, I started doing freelance work (Ruby on Rails) and transitioned to a full-time position at ClickFunnels (Ruby, Rails, Kafka, Redis). I've been learning and growing at Doximity for almost 2 years and received a GSD award in 2022 (after being nominated by my teammates!).I embrace critical thinking, independent learning, technology and collaboration to affect change. I value efficiency, productivity and kindness. Ultimately, it is my hope that thoughtful technology and science will help us realize solutions to our most important problems (healthcare, global civil rights, climate change, education, etc.) and this is what motivates me.
