Excited to be part of a team of Applications Specialists who aim to enhance ultrasound education, utility and advancements with a view to optimising diagnostic imaging and reporting in an ever changing field.

Demonstration of ultrasound systems to prospective clients. Encouraging maximum utility of ultrasound systems in order to gain maximum information, in a clinical setting. This assists with optimising the diagnostic information available for ultrasound imaging, for sonographers, radiologists and clinicians. My brand contributed to increased sales of voluson/ GE ultrasound systems from six systems in Ireland to a majority share in the obstetric field. Post installation support to all new voluson customers is provided and enhanced training in all aspects of system utilisation with 2,3 and 4d training. Presenting new technology to customers. Lecturing in physics, machine practicals and quality assurance of ultrasound systems in University College Dublin. These lectures were to Diploma and Master's of Diagnostic Imaging students.

Galway

I was the nurse who established the nursing aspect of Galway Fertility Unit. My role included patient care, education, history taking, baseline ultrasound assessment of the pelvis, implementation of many treatment regimes to increase fertility options, ultrasound evaluation of response to ovarian stimulation, assistance at oocyte collection, embryo transfers and counselling at time of pregnancy test. Multi-disciplinary team meetings to aim at optimum pregnancy rates per cycle for intrauterine insemination, in vitro fertilisation and intracytaplasmic sperm injection. The pregnancy rates per cycle were among the best nationally at that time.

Volunteer nurse/midwife with children orphaned by HIV diagnosis. Worked in the Victor Babes Hospital to assist in improving the conditions and health of the children with HIV diagnosis. Was requested to assist with nurse education of the Romanian Nursing staff. This would further improve the health and care of the children. Extended my stay by returning for an extra month to contribute to the children's welfare.
