Analyze and perform quality assurance of proprietary self-driving software, review and test simulated self-driving data, report bugs on safety-related issues and regulation violations

· Worked on Golden State Medical Supply (GSMS) pharmaceutical repackaging stability check project which includes: developing and improving algorithms that optimize statistical analysis on the stability of repackaged pharmaceutical products and automate the analysis process by using RMarkdown.· Applied the algorithms to GSMS's pharmaceutical repackaging data for their industrial use.· Communicated regularly with the project manager at GSMS to discuss the results of analysis and modify the algorithms to raise its efficiency in their workflow.

· Provided statistical analysis of product stability data for Golden State Medical Supply. Found regression models, establish confidence intervals, and provided user-friendly program to utilize findings.· Presented research project at Graduate Math and Physics Seminar on December 3, 2018 and at Mathematics Association of America conference on October 27, 2018.

· Taught Calculus I, College Algebra, Intermediate Algebra courses to students at CSU Channel Islands which the workflow includes: designing curricula, lectures, and assignments, creating and administering assessments and determining student outcomes for their academic records. · Praised by students for “Math is something that I struggle with and she made it to where it wasn't difficult and frustrating to learn the material. Jane was a great instructor and would recommend her.” · Earned 4.92/5 overall scores on peer review of teaching by two different experienced professors with a comment: “I was amazed to see how many topics Jane could cover in a small period…Jane knows all students by name. She could hold students’ attention for the entire time.”

Graded homework assignments of a total of 73 students in Probability Theory course.

Assisted activity sessions for Pre-Calculus, Calculus I (regular & for engineering) courses consisting of average 40 students each course which the workflow includes: grading activity worksheets and analyzing students’ performance to report it to the supervisor.

· Provided walk-in and appointed tutoring service for Pre-Calculus, Calculus I, II & III, Ordinary Differential Equation and Linear Algebra I. · Had around 120-150 students visiting for walk-in service weekly basis while working with another peer tutor per shift.

· Studied an implicit solver for the one-dimensional Buckley-Leverette equation and simulated two-phase immiscible displacement in one-dimension with using MATLAB.· Presented research at Undergraduate Poster Competition at CSU Bakersfield on April 21, 2017 and awarded the 1st place.

Provided appointed tutoring service to average 18 students per week as well as walk-in tutoring service for Pre-Calculus, Calculus I, II & III, Ordinary Differential Equation and Linear Algebra.
