• Ensuring proper invoice coding, and check preparation and distribution as well as prepare required reporting and documentation • Liason between Accounts Payable and General Accounting • Working with JSOX and internal auditors to ensure company policies and controls were upheld• Overseeing the processing and verification of invoices, coding of expenses, preparation of vouchers, and issuance of checks for payment via EFT, ACH or Wire• Process all 1099 Misc and 1099 Div at year end• Review all positive pay files for exceptions per bank files and research outstanding check logs weekly.• Reviewing accounts payable register and other related accounting reports, general ledger and subledger processes• Recommending changes in methods or procedures to improve the efficiency of the accounts payable unit.

• Process bank reconciliations and journal entries on both Depository and Operating accounts• Completed all Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable reconciliations, vendor payment files and customer rebate files for month end• Calculate, prepare and file all Sales and Use tax returns for 46 states monthly/quarterly/annually, along with all personal property tax and business license returns• Process sales commission files and payments for all 250 sales reps within the company• Work with Senior Director of Operations on preliminary financials for all Operating expenses to ensure proper coding, entries and amounts for the financial reporting structure
