Coordination and management of participation in the various SBA guarantee programs bank wide. Provide training and education to all appropriate staff relative to SBA programs and compliance to the associated SOPs . Review all files that include SBA supported individual loan requests at or in excess of $100,000 to insure full SOP compliance before the loan is funded. Ensure all loans less than $100,000 including SBA Express Guaranteed Loans/Lines are made in accordance with SOP standards. Work with Special Assets to request payments on guarantees as needed . Serve as an integral part of the overall service and monitoring of SBA loans in coordination with Portfolio Managers and Relationship Managers. Worked in tandem with the Relationship Manager to provide the best loan structure to benefit the client and the bank while adhering to the policies and procedures necessary to protect the bank’s reputation with the U.S. Small Business Administration. As an SBA Specialist, I evaluated eligibility for credit enhancement, provided term and pricing guidelines. and guided the client through the loan approval, closing and servicing process with SBA specific forms necessary to underwrite, document and fund an SBA loan.Provided departmental support through four bank acquisitions and the subsequent integration of acquired SBA portfolios. Initiated and secured the SBA PLP designation for the bank. Led the on-site SBA audit in 2012 and responded to findings.

Recruited by the owner, a former customer at Citizens Bank, to reorganize and streamline operational processes in preparation for industry certification and accreditation. Held functional responsibility for human resources, information technology, internal communication, finance, and inside sales.
