Monitors Job Openings • Contacts the HR Supervisor for additional information for an approved openings. • Edits and posts the job requisition as a job posting on upsjobs.com and any other applicable major job board. • Manages the flow and status of candidates through the AE (Automated Employment), the ATS. • Hides job posting from view and/or close the job opening when appropriate. • Updates Recruiting supervisor on weekly progress Selects and Reviews Candidates • Selects candidates and review application, identifying those having the basic qualifications for the job. • Sends identified candidates to HR Supervisor. • Follows-up with the hiring HR supervisor on selected candidates. Screens Candidates & Coordinate Interview and Assessment Process • Conducts an HR fit phone interview with the candidates to aid in the selection of the right talent for the right positions within the company. • Coordinates all necessary assessments. • Coordinates the tour scheduling with the HR supervisor. • Follow-up with the hiring manager on interview results. Develop Influential Recruiting Contacts • Develop recruiting contacts with local high schools, universities and technical centers. • Identify community activities to attract potential candidates. • Monitor community/university UPS job postings to ensure compliance with UPS . • Attend daily recruiting events. Social Media • Utilizes Social Networking sites to identify potential candidates, driving them to our ATS. • Develop a social media network through LinkedIn through the use of online groups and chats associated with local universities, high schools and community organizations.
