Kindred Futures is a catalytic nonprofit that seeks to achieve shared prosperity by building Black wealth through community wealth building strategies. We are a community of investors, advocates, and activists working to transform systems and structures of capital to create opportunities for Black people and communities across the South! We promote understanding of community wealth-building strategies to cultivate the engagement, capacity, and leadership necessary to shape a new economic narrative in Atlanta and beyond. By challenging systemic bias and introducing new systems and structures of capital, KF aims to re-engineer and redesign ecosystems to support thriving economies that work for all!

Manage portfolio of grants that advance results for the Family Economic Success strategy to ensure Neighborhood Planning Unit V families are employed and on a pathway to family-supporting careers, accessing work supports and building assets and wealth.Design and support an influence agenda that create system changes to help connect low income families to the economic mainstream.Collaborate with ACS partners to establish benchmarks, metrics and other outcome measurement strategies to support real time learning and application.Commission and manage evaluation plans for major strategies/projects by working closely withindependent evaluators/consultants.

Contribute strategic, operational, and creative thought leadership, helping ACS to secure improved outcomes for its constituents and influence public policy.Provide training, resources and technical assistance support to strengthen partners’ capacity to build evidence.

Develop and evaluate the organization’s performance management systems. Promote reliable policies that bring awareness around systemic challenges that prevent hard working families from securing inter generational wealth. Analyze and disseminate data to inform program design.

Support the implementation of research studies and assist with the development of survey instruments for various evaluation projects. Analyze evaluation data in SPSS and/or other statistical programs as needed and summarize data for internal and external reports.

Travel to elementary schools in the state of Georgia and use observation instruments to assess the implementation of the Reading First curriculum (K through grade 3) within the state.

Conducted discussion sections to supplement faculty lectures, assisted with developing exams, provided succinct communication on students’ progress, and graded exams.

Conducted policy research and analysis on an array of policy issues including education, health care, energy, tax, trade, and defense for Member's office. Helped to draft legislation which was unanimously passed and organized HIV/AIDS Awareness campaign. I also prepared several press releases, policy memos, floor statements, and Appropriations and Rules Committee briefing reports.

Reviewed grant requests, assessed grant requirements, analyzed available prospective funding analysis of the most viable funding sources. Prepared concise reports on sources, and provided the findings.

Attended hearings and briefings, wrote floor statements, policy memos, and talking points.

I developed grassroot networks and actively promoted partnerships to advance an awareness campaign. Our team was able to galvanize volunteers into this vibrant drive and found innovative ways to get media attention to support our efforts.
